Lan Party participants have great time

We had a great time tonight...you all missed a fun time! Make sure you join us next time. Alex Miller, Cody Steele (Christopher's son), Ivan (Alex's friend), John Morris and Christopher Douris brought their computers. Unfortunately John could not hook into the hub...something missing with the extensions and ethernet. They're working on getting him ready for next time. But the others played Warcraft. I think they'll have organize a little more next time to see which games and versions they are bringing.

We had about six or seven other people, as spectators and lively discussions took place.

I got 16 digital pics for the website. Watch for them in the next little while.

It was a great night and all agreed that we should plan on doing another LAN game night in the fall and again the following spring. At least two a year if not three. The challenge is moving the computers and setting up. WE will start earlier next time.

Hopefully we get a tradition going. It was great seeing three generations playing games together. It truly shows that computers and the sharing of fun on them is ageless. From our seniors, to our forty-somethings, to our teens to our youngsters fun for all! But hey Alex and Ivan TEENS RULE!!! Way to go.

Cheers

The gamers attracted quite a mixed audience for their no-holds-barred action games. Above, Alex Miller, front, helps long-time LOGIC meeting attendee Cody Steele with his game while Cody's dad, Christopher Douris has his own audience

Recent Apple II to Macintosh convert John Morris was left playing solitaire after his PowerBook 3400 came up short in the Extensions department and couldn't partake in the gaming. Bet you couldn't do this on your old dino... er ... Apple II, John

John again

John's not without his own fan club. Here he's watched by, from left, Christopher, LOGIC President Bill Gassner, a member and fellow Apple II fan Johnny Lau
