Adobe/CCUG Presentation April 28, 2001

LOGIC director Heidi Kreiner-Ley enjoys a few seconds break before the start of the Adobe presentation on April 28

HACK President Alan Adams, WaterMUG and CCUG President Richard Crispin and Beatrice Noble of Adobe Systems share a quiet moment before the crowd moves in

Colin Smith, Adobe Systems' High Priest of digital imaging talking to the volunteers before the start of his presentation

Colin brought a Titanium G4 PowerBook and IBM ThinkPad to demonstrate the versatility and cross-platform compatibilities of Adobe's products. The volunteers were fighting over the Titanium PowerBook--but Colin couldn't find anyone who wanted to take the ThinkPad off his hands

One of Colin's strengths as a software evangelist and presenter is the amount of time he seems to find to answer questions and mingle with the visitors

Dubbed the E-mail Maven (Spammer shurely) by Richard Crispin LOGIC director Heidi Kreiner-Ley worked tirelessly to make sure the special event came off without a hitch

Beatrice answers some last minute questions from the volunteers, including MaUsE President Bruce Cameron, MaUsE member John Field, WaterMUG members Rob and Mike Campbell

Participants started rolling in early, but volunteers Nicole Field, Alan Adams and Sue Reid were more than ready for them

Having a quiet smoke in the sunshine are volunteers Christopher Douris from LOGIC, Rob *** from WaterMUG, Heidi Kreiner-Ley from LOGIC, Bruce Cameron from MaUsE and Alan Adams from HACK

Close to 150 people braved the sunshine and warm weather to watch Colin put Adobe products GoLive, Illustrator, Photoshop Elements, LiveMotion, Premier and After Effects through their paces
